User Registration
Creating an account on Integrate Pasifika is quick and straightforward. Follow this step-by-step guide to join the Pacific knowledge community.
Step 1: Access the Registration Page
Navigate to the Integrate Pasifika homepage and click the "Sign Up" or "Join Now" button. You'll be taken to our secure registration form.
Step 2: Provide Your Information
Fill out the registration form with the following required information:
Required Information
- Full Name: Your complete name as you'd like it to appear on the platform
- Email Address: Use your institutional email if available, or a personal email you check regularly
- Password: Choose a strong password with at least 8 characters
- Organization: Your workplace, university, or affiliated organization
- Country/Territory: Select your Pacific country or territory from the dropdown
- Role: Choose the option that best describes your work (Researcher, Policy Maker, Student, etc.)
Step 3: Email Verification
After submitting the form, check your email inbox for a verification message from Integrate Pasifika. Click the verification link to activate your account. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder.
Step 4: Complete Your Profile
Once your email is verified, you'll be prompted to complete your profile with additional information:

Optional but recommended information
- Profile Photo: Upload a professional photo to help others recognize you
- Bio: Write 2-3 sentences about your work and interests
- Areas of Interest: Select topics you're passionate about (climate, health, education, etc.)
- Languages: List the languages you speak
- Professional Links: Add your website, LinkedIn, or other professional profiles
Account Types and Permissions
When you first register, you'll be a General User with basic platform access. Your permissions will expand as you join Communities of Practice:
General User

COP Member
After joining communities
- ✅ All General User permissions

- ✅ Participate in COP discussions
- ✅ Join COP events and meetings
- ✅ Create your own communities
Security and Privacy

- • You can update your privacy settings at any time
