Creating & Editing Pages

Learn how to create new CMS pages, edit existing content, and manage your page settings effectively.

Creating a New Page

  1. 1. Navigate to Page Builder

    Go to /moderator/page-builder from your moderator dashboard.

  2. 2. Click "Create Page"

    Click the blue "Create Page" button in the top right corner.

  3. 3. Enter Page Details

    In the dialog, fill in:

    • Page Title - The display name of your page
    • URL Slug - The URL path (auto-generated from title, but editable)
    • Description - Optional brief description
  4. 4. Start Building

    You'll be taken to the Page Builder editor where you can add content blocks.

Editing an Existing Page

To edit an existing page:

  1. 1. Go to /moderator/page-builder
  2. 2. Find the page you want to edit in the grid
  3. 3. Click the "Edit" button on the page card
  4. 4. Make your changes in the editor
  5. 5. Click "Save Draft" or "Publish" to save your changes

Page Settings

Access page settings by clicking the "Page Settings" tab in the right sidebar of the editor:

Basic Settings

  • Page Title - The main title displayed on the page
  • URL Slug - The URL path (e.g., "about-us" for /p/about-us)
  • Description - Brief description of the page content
  • Status - Draft, Published, Scheduled, or Archived

SEO Settings

  • Meta Title - Title shown in search results and browser tabs
  • Meta Description - Description shown in search results
  • OG Image URL - Image shown when shared on social media
  • Canonical URL - The preferred URL for search engines
  • No Index - Prevent the page from appearing in search results

Scheduled Publishing

  • • Set status to "Scheduled" to enable scheduling
  • • Select the date and time for automatic publishing
  • • The page will automatically publish at the scheduled time
  • • A cron job checks for scheduled pages every minute

Page Statuses

  • Draft

    Page is saved but not visible to the public. Use this while working on content.

  • Published

    Page is live and accessible to anyone at /p/[slug].

  • Scheduled

    Page will automatically publish at the specified date and time.

  • Archived

    Page is hidden from the public but preserved for reference.

URL Slug Tips

  • • Use lowercase letters and hyphens only
  • • Keep slugs short and descriptive
  • • Avoid changing slugs on published pages (creates broken links)
  • • Example: "climate-resilience-guide" not "Climate_Resilience Guide!"
